It's very curiuos to me how I feel so much better as a parent when I have a consistent journaling habit.
Something about writing your thoughts makes you think more clearly and helps you get to a place of stronger will faster.
It's similar to when you talk your heart out to a friend.
Or a therapist.
Weight is lifted. You are lighter.
Even if it's just 5 mins per day. Just do it. Today, for example, I have a need to talk about how I get angry very easily with my kids.
I'm talking like in the first 10 mins of waking up something goes south. One of them gets me (I have 3 kids so it's always a different thing).
But, thinking through the issues today. I realised that it's almost 95% ME. I have a high expectation. I have an unnaturally high expectations of my family.
When thinking about it like this. I am inclined to slow down. And I feel better and I feel more confident.
